This week our films are similar, they both deal with the devastation of tsunamis. The first film is The Impossible (2012) about the 2004 disaster in South East Asia. The film follows the true story of one families fight to find each other after the massive disaster. Our second film is The Wave (2015) the story of the potential scenario if the narrow Norwegian fjord Geiranger collapsed and created a massive tsunami engulfing a small village. While both films show the extent of the devastation they focus on individual families journey through the disasters. Next we have a disaster themed Take My Money. Nick and Joe suggest two potential stories that could make interesting real life disaster films. Nick would like to see an event series around the Bubonic plague. While Joe thinks the Port Chicago munitions disaster would make a compelling film. Then we pick our films for next week.   As always a huge thank you to @SumKilla for our great theme song and bumper music.
