Anna Grace Davidson is a luxury interior designer and stylist whose world-class work is lauded by her clients around the globe. She is the founder and creative director of two eponymous interior design companies. Anna Casa Interiors is a luxury interior design company working on some of the globe’s most high profile developments and residential postcodes. Anna Casa in Mayfair is a luxury interior design showroom dedicated to representing the work of leading furniture makers and expertly sourcing exquisite artworks, lighting and accessories. Her recognizable work – typified by its marriage of luxuriousness, serenity and utility – has been featured in many British and global publications such as GQ, Tatler Russia, Forbes Life, Marie Claire Malaysia, Upscale Living, Mayfair Magazine, Mail on Sunday, Fabric Magazine amongst many. Anna regularly gives insightful talks on her design work and her entrepreneurial career at key events in the global design and business calendar. Endlessly tenacious and ever curious, Anna is always compelled to unearth the most stunning pieces and artisans to ensure her completed projects always surpass client expectations. Ethos and style As well as unwavering commitment to quality and expert design, Anna’s work is underpinned by a belief that a spiritual approach to design can positively transform people’s experience of a space. As the cornerstones of her approach, these things inform her signature style: opulent and timeless, but with a honed understanding of what makes a space livable and usable. Central to Anna’s design ethos is balance. She regards her relationships with some of the best furniture manufacturers and craftspeople as paramount, but believes that it takes creative vision and a keen curatorial eye to make outstanding pieces work in context. For her, the best design is about indulging the senses with bespoke lighting, fabrics, furniture and intuitive styling; she looks to create interiors that are as breathtaking as they are conducive to wellbeing. Two of her recent projects – that have benefitted from this treatment are Zefi’s Bar on London’s King’s Road and a four-bed period townhouse in Belgravia. Travel is essential to Anna’s design aesthetic. She is trilingual and regularly trots the globe in search of inspiring designs, choosing destinations that offer her spiritual experiences that will inspire her professional life and inform her design sensibility. Styling When it comes to styling spaces for editorial, residential or commercial purposes, Anna is in her element. SHer talent is taking a brief and a generic space and transforming it into an authentic environment that photographs beautifully or allows visitors to instantly envisage the property and theirs. Anna’s inherent understanding of the impact of colour, furnishing and touch on people’s experience of their setting allows her to style these things to positive effect. Background Creative ability has been a defining characteristic of Anna’s life for as long as she can remember. She showed artistic flair from a very young age when, in her native Kiev, her father returned home to find her playing with a beautiful vase he didn’t recognise. When asked where it was from she confessed that she had painted it herself. Realising that his daughter had great talent that needed nurturing, he enrolled her in art lessons. That was the beginning of a long and successful career in the art and design world. From Kiev, she moved to the newly unified Berlin where she reveled in city’s burgeoning creative scene. It was there she studied graphic design and was, on graduating, quickly snapped up by an advertising agency where she worked on pioneering global campaigns. She moved to London in 2003 to study at the KLC School of Design and launched her own companies just three years later. Current Projects Anna continues to collaborate with leading brands to ensure that Anna Casa remains at the vanguard of design...
