Ron Marvin Design is a New York based design firm, specializing in residential interiors. Ron’s style has been dubbed ‘Gentlemen’s Chic”, featuring tailored, menswear inspired details, mixing all eras of style. Ron has been designing homes for over a decade.   Prior to opening his firm, he worked for 12 years in visual merchandising for companies such as Gap, William-Sonoma, William-Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Hold Everything, influencing their brand identity. Ron’s expertise included visual merchandising, store design, styling and art direction for in-store marketing.   Ron’s work has been featured in many national print publications, such as Domino, Metropolitan Home, Traditional Home, Lonny Magazine, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times. His home was one of the top winners in Apartment Therapy’s annual “Smallest, Coolest Space” contest. In 2011, Ron was honored as one of Traditional Home’s “New Trad Designers”. That same year he was also recognized by the International Furnishings and Design Association as one of their “Rising Stars”. Ron’s home has also been featured on the HGTV show “Small Space, Big Style.” After appearing on the show, Ron was asked to join the show as one of the on-air experts. He has also spent time teaching interior design and architectural studies at Parson’s New School for Design.   Ron’s design aesthetic is most influenced by menswear, travel and the international marketplace. With frequent trips to flea markets and antique shops, he is always inspired by “the potential of what could be.”   Explore Ron's Website here Add Ron's book recommendation, Inspired Styles, to your design library by clicking here
