Joe selected the 2016 indie darling Sing Street, about a teenager in Dublin who forms a school band to attract the attentions of a young lady he fancies and while doing so learns what it means to discover himself. Our tried and true closing segment Hidden Gems features the 1976 comedy adventure Silver Streak starring Gene Wilder, Richard Pryor and Jill Clayburgh (streaming on Netflix!) and the 2010 indie drama Blue Valentine with Ryan Gossling and Michelle Williams.
