Jamie Gold, CKD, CAPS is a San Diego-based Certified Kitchen Designer, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, journalist and author. Since becoming a designer in 2004 after a three-decade career in media and marketing, Jamie has completed hundreds of kitchens and baths for new construction and remodeling projects. She has worked with homeowners, architects, builders and contractors across the country, both in person and remotely.   Her first book, New Kitchen Ideas That Work, was published in December 2012 by Taunton Press.                 Her second Taunton book, New Bathroom Idea Book, publishes in May 2017.                 Jamie also writes the monthly Trend Spotting section for Kitchen Bath Design News and a monthly Home Garden cover story for the San Diego Union-Tribune.  Her design blog, Gold Notes: Nuggets from the World of Residential Design, has been posting online at her website since 2008.  She is a member of Brizo’s Blogger 19 and Blanco’s Design Council.   In addition to writing and designing, Jamie creates seminars and webinars for media, trade and consumer audiences, and consults on product development and trends for housing industry corporations and Wall Street investment groups.   Her speaking credits include the official National Kitchen Bath Association Chapter Presenters roster, San Diego NKBA chapter, Central Coast Valley NKBA Chapter, Tampa Bay Builders Association Remodelers Council, and local homeowners and professionals programs.   Explore Jamie's Website here
