As Principal and Chief Operating Director of Scavullo Design Interiors, Janine Aurichio embraces the responsibility of ensuring projects are completed on budget and on schedule.   With her MBA from Columbia, project management and banking background, and interior design degree and experience, Janine brings expert abilities to the operations of the business ensuring new and creative ideas are met with solid solutions.   At the core of it all, Janine’s deepest desire is to create relationships and teams that are based on trust, connection and growth. “These values create inspiration and possibility and ultimately create successful projects infused with imagination and the spirit of beauty,” says Janine.   A New York native, Janine found a second home when she moved to Northern California. When she’s not in the office, she can be found hiking through the redwoods of Mt. Tamalpais, practicing yoga, spending time with her Little Sister, and deepening her spiritual practice. She’s also an avid diver who has traveled to six contents in search of the next underwater haven.   Janine holds a B.A. in English and B.S. in Business/Finance from SUNY Buffalo; an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Graduate School of Business; and an A.A.S. in Interior Design from New York School of Interior Design. She held positions of increasing responsibility in Marketing at Revlon, Godiva Chocolatier and Victoria’s Secret Beauty before moving to the AD industry in 2002. Currently she is on the Advisory Board of the UC Berkeley Extension Interior Design program.
