Janice Barta grew up on the east coast and earned degrees in the Arts and Interior Architecture Design at the Maryland Institute College of the Arts Parsons School of Design in NYC. Janice went on to design interiors with high-end Interior Design Architecture firms in Milan, New York City and Los Angeles. While living in Los Angeles, Janice Barta founded Barta Interiors as a way to create custom interiors that connect to clients and their environments. These interiors are crafted with unique and personal touches all with a modern eye. Her passion for architecture and its symbiosis with interiors, together with a fondness for vintage décor and antiques, drew her in curatorial spirit to the special, individualized home.
Janice’s attention to historical authenticity and a fine level of detail in her design work shows her deep appreciation for a space composed with thoughtfulness to its architectural backdrop.
