A fashion aficionado turned interior designer, Julie Rootes draws inspiration from the catwalk to craft beautiful, functional interiors for her loyal following of San Francisco Bay Area clients. Julie infuses each of her dynamic interiors with vibrant pops of color, bold print, and custom details. Describing her aesthetic as California chic with a touch of Southern flair, the designer seamlessly melds the elegance of her current Bay Area lifestyle with her Texas upbringing. The result is fresh interior spaces with a delightful mix of modern and traditional. A devoted mother of three, Julie also prides herself in creating beautiful spaces that stand up to the demands of an active family. Upon graduating from college, Julie worked in Prada’s retail buying division and the advertising world before embarking on designing interiors for a boutique commercial and residential development firm. These fast-paced and client-driven environments taught her exceptional customer service, time management, and budgeting skills. In 2011, she founded Julie Rootes Interiors, creating chic, residential interiors tailored towards families throughout the Bay Area and beyond. Her recent endeavors include participating in the 2015 San Francisco Decorator Showcase and 2016 Traditional Home Napa Valley Showhouse. Julie graduated from Texas Christian University with a BS in Business Management and Marketing with a minor in Fashion Merchandising and Design. She later studied Interior Design at San Francisco’s Academy of Art. Visit Julie's Website here
