Anna Zaoui was born in Morocco, where she grew up before moving to Paris as a young adult to complete her university education and work before moving to London to raise her family. She has now lived in London for the past 20 years. It was moving to London that truly awakened the dormant creativity within her, Anna has said. Today, Anna Zaoui is an adviser and board member for the Snow Show, the Serpentine, Kids, the BFAMI and the Brain Circle. Truly passionate about the arts, she is also actively involved in London’s Hayward Gallery. She met The Invisible Collection’s co-founder Isabelle Dubern, a fellow Parisian in London, when she moved to London through a mutual friend. Through their friendship, they discovered a shared passion for interior design and decoration, as well as a creative and entrepreneurial spirit which led to the development of The Invisible Collection. Zaoui says, “This is the culmination of a long friendship between Isabelle and myself; We wanted to spend time together and happen to share a common passion among our interests.” Today, launching The Invisible Collection as a premier e-commerce destination for design pieces of immense quality and originality remains Anna’s primary drive. She shares her time between Paris, London and the United States, travelling frequently to inspiring destinations, such as Italy and Morocco, scouring the globe for unearthed treasures of design.
