Marina Case is the Principal and lead designer of The Red Shutters in Warwick, New York. Her strengths include a comprehensive knowledge of taste and style through history to the present, a gift for collaboration, a flair for color and impeccable respect for her clients.   Marina is fluent in all four decorating styles: traditional, modern, tribal and fun. Marina uses and often mixes these four iconic styles to tell each client’s unique story through their homes, workplaces and recreation spaces—and always in great taste. She has been honored as one of the Top 50 New York designers by New York Spaces and won national acclaim for her design of the Spa at Glenmere Mansion, named one of Top 100 places in the world to visit by Departures magazine.  Among Marina’s other projects are the Tuxedo Park Library, Tuxedo Country Club and Liberty Hall Museum, the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor and many generations of his family.   Marina has been published in New York Spaces, Southern New England Home, Hudson Valley and American Spa, among many others. Her blog—The House in Good Taste—provides an inside look at her inspirations, travels and projects. She hosts “The Style Show” live on terrestrial and Internet radio, where she interviews many prominent guests in the decorating trade, and teaches a popular course about Historic Textiles and Wallpaper at the DD Building for the New York School of Interior Design. Marina’s work has earned attention in Houzz feature stories, and she recently received the title of Houzz Influencer.   Marina participates in a leading collaborative national network of designers, where she shares ideas in both the creative and professional aspects of the decorating business. Marina was a mom and hobby designer for many years and now endeavors full time for her clients at her studio and store in picturesque Warwick, New York. She envisions a world where increasingly many energetic women and men create rewarding jobs for themselves and others, satisfying clients and customers in the bright, exciting world of interior design and decorating.   Explore Marina's Website here   Add a copy of Marina's book recommendation, The House in Good Taste, to your design library by clicking here.
