I am super excited to have Sarah Sukumaran, Founder & CEO of Lilith NYC| a global media platform & footwear brand for women, femmes, and all underrepresented folks in the sneaker world. We talk about how she got her first job as a tutor, and how she got to where she is now. She was working in many technical fields, up until she got started working at Nike because of her love of data. We talk about the huge shift on what footwear has been available so that we are not putting women into a box, and how big shoe and fashion companies have not been fast to pivot to today. Lillith is a stand out in the market for shoes for so many great reasons, and that since black women have driven the culture for so long we should totally be winning monetarily as well.
