Freshman director Nate Parker's passion project tells the story to Nat Turner, a literate slave and preacher who initiates a deadly uprising in the American south. There is plenty to talk about and consider in this movie, which is becoming quite divisive - inspiring both audience protests and garnering quite a bit of Oscar buzz.
