With two weeks to go until ASU starts spring football, 'Sun Devil Source Report' hosts Kerry Crowley and Chris Karpman provided an overview of each of the Sun Devils' defensive position groups heading into the month of March. Kerry and Chris looked at how the positional flexibility of various defensive players could impact ASU's approach and what type of impact new defensive coordinator Phil Bennett may have on the team's personnel groupings this spring. After finishing up the spring defensive primer, Kerry and Chris recorded an interview with ASU's assistant athletic director for recruiting Donnie Yantis, who explained the Sun Devils' new approach to recruiting in Southern California. Yantis provided details on his background and how he's watched football at the high school level evolve in Arizona during his career as a coach. Yantis also reflects on the importance of developing relationships with recruits and starting those relationships earlier with prospects in Arizona, and finishes the interview by offering up his thoughts on his favorite restaurant in the valley.
