In this episode, we continue our discussion of queer veterans and some of the discrimination they faced during more recent wars. Gay Veterans From World War II through the repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”, we name and tell of the bravery of different queer soldiers. We also point out the various ways the military has sought to hide, shame, and silence their own heroes. These champions fought battles overseas only to come home to more hate and abuse.
