The latest episode of Across The Park podcast follows two away wins in a week for the reds at Spurs and West Ham, leaving Terry and Phil with renewed hope that retaining their Premier League title is still on the cards. Both reds were complimentary of Klopp's tweaks to the midfield, the return to form of the reds famous front three, as well as the performance of Trent Alexander Arnold. The blues Judgy and Millsy on the other hand, are feeling deflated after seeing Everton take 1 point from six in the last week, where a credible draw against Leicester was followed up by a poor 2-0 defeat at the hands of struggling Newcastle. Millsy is “finished” with two certain Everton players, whilst Judgy says he “wasn’t surprised” by further slips from the blues, despite their good form prior to last week's games. The lads then look back in history at the return of Robbie Fowler and the signing of Nikica Jelavic. Social media questions are covered and the episode also sees the return of “higher or lower” and the lads selecting a combined XI players who represented England, at the request of a listener, which includes plenty of debate! The episode is then rounded off by looking ahead to this weeks fixtures; Liverpool entertain Brighton and Man City at Anfield and Everton travel away to Leeds and Man United.
