In this episode, Taraleigh and Leah chat with founders of Inclusion Festival and board members of Accessible Festivals Amy Pinder and Leah Barron. Amy and Leah share why accessibility at live music concerts and festivals is so important. They shine a light on how much work there is to be done when it comes to this. For the “Did you Know” section, Dr. Leah Taylor shares statistics on the challenges surrounding accessibility and Taraleigh gives listeners tips on how to become aware of how accessible or inaccessible the places you commonly visit are in her “Daily Jam.”

Amy Pinder is the co-founder of Inclusion Festival, executive director or Accessible Festivals and a speech-language therapist with over fifteen years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and neurological differences in a variety of educational, vocational, and community settings.

Leah Barron is the co-founder of Inclusion Festival, programs director of Accessible Festivals, a special education teacher, and a registered yoga instructor with experience working in a variety of settings including public schools, private studios, and home-based instruction. She is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with individuals of all ages and abilities, though she has a particular interest in supporting those with disabilities. Additionally, Leah co-founded My Best Fest, an online music festival guide, which led her to on-site festival consulting services.
