The Anfield Index Podcast returns, after a week’s absence, with quite a resounding bang. The opening part of the show sees Trev Downey, Karl Coppack and Kam Brainch passionately discussing some of the ignorance, idiocy and offensive nonsense that has arisen from the Karius concussion story, as well as talking about how actual progress can be made. After that, the solemnity disappears almost completely with topics as diverse as World Cup memories, football toys, signature dance moves and Kam’s subconscious mimicking of John Travolta, all getting air time. This is what you expect from these lads - the cerebral and comical - like the mixing of cereal and a protein shake, it shouldn’t work, but it does. Hosted on Acast. See
