This podcast started out with a fully triggered Tom Pestak ready to rant to David Wood and Nate Smith. Despite plenty to talk about in the world of basketball, the Cavs, sports, and culture, Tom's ire was focused on a perceived slight towards CtB. This delved into a discussion of the state of Cavs' media, and a realization that we're celebrating the 10th anniversary of CavsTheBlog this season. The topics for this anniversary podcast ranged far and wide. Also catching Tom's ire? The state of nutrition science today (if that seems random to you, you're not alone). Tom can't shake the feeling that despite years of data it feels like we know less now about the topic than we did 20 years ago. "We just don't know," was also an apt summation of our thoughts on this Cavs season, as we delved into an array of topics. Manu Ginobili, one of the greatest guards of his generation? Who's been watching Dion Waiters' nutrition and could the Cavs use Saint Weirdo? Where will Jimmy Butler end up and can Cleveland be a part of the trade? Why's Ty Lue putting Rodney Hood on a pedestal? We also examined LeBron's trials in L.A., whether we're rooting for or against him, and whether the Lakers or Cavs have a better shot at the playoffs. We discussed the rumors of Jimmy sliding into his teammates' girls' DMs, and channeled our inner Froggy Fresh as we discussed where Jimmy Butler ranks in terms of NBA players. We asked which Morris twin is the stupid one? Will Ty be able to play his best players? What would making the playoffs do for the Cavs future? ...and a litany of other topics. We didn't have all the answers, but we weren't afraid to ask questions.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
