Quite an eventful week in the world of professional wrestling.  Most of these happenings are very good.  They include the beginning of the G1 Climax.  Tetsuya Naito and Kota Ibushi set the tone by putting on an instant classic on the very first night.  Day 2 had two solid matches with SANADA vs. EVIL and Kenny Omega taking on Minoru Suzuki.  The G1 Climax never disappoints.

The second major development that we discussed, which is both awesome and a

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT…

….Is the fact that Ronda Rousey and her 4 Horsewomen (Shayna Bayzler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke) teased a confrontation with the WWE/NXT 4 Horsewomen (Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks).  The confrontation was filmed during the Mae Young Classic after Shayna taunted the WWE quartet by holding up four fingers.  This led to a lot of banter and sets being repped.  We discuss if there’ll be a follow-up to this angle.  Will Ronda and her squad take on the top 4 women in WWE?  Or will this lead to a one-off match with Ronda at a major PPV?

The third, and final, development that happened this week was Kurt Angle’s big reveal.  Was it the fact that he was sleeping with Stephanie McMahon or Dixie Carter?  No, that’s too obvious.  You gotta swerve the people, bro.  The big reveal was that Jason Jordan was Kurt Angle’s son.  Apparently, Kurt Angle’s pull-out game isn’t as good as his wrestling game and he fathered Jordan during college.  Apparently, Jordan never found out about this until after he graduated college.  Interesting to see where this Angle…angle goes.  Even more interesting to see where Jordan and Angle end up on the list of great father-son duos.
