“Bi, Poly, Switch- I’m not greedy. I know what I want”. This was the way queer advocate Brenda Howard once described herself. An early pioneer of the Gay Liberation Movement, Howard was directly responsible for the way we celebrate Pride today. Brenda Howard She was an individual devoted to many causes within LGBTQ circles, and she was proud and open with her identities. Because of this, she faced a lot of backlash even from her own kind.
