We’ve got a lot to talk about this week on TAWF.  So much in fact that we had to split this episode into two parts!  On the first episode, we discussed Damon’s trip to Evolve 85.  Damon’s mentioned Evolve Wrestling many times on the show and he’s an especially big fan of WWN Champion Matt Riddle.  Somehow, Damon missed Matt Riddle’s entire match.  He tells the story of how he pulled off such a feat. And yes, alcohol is involved.

We were also able to break down WWE’s back-to-back events of NXT Takeover: Chicago and WWE Backlash.  Both events featured fantastic matches including an instant classic between Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate for the WWE United Kingdom Championship and the United States Championship match between Kevin Owens and AJ Styles.  However, there are three things we focused on coming out of Backlash weekend.  Disappointment in the Shinsuke Nakamura/Dolph Ziggler match, general apathy regarding Itami vs. Roode, and DIY’s (sort of, kind of) shocking break-up.  Kaz is very excited at the resurgence of the Sicilian Psychopath.
