This week the DCEU puts it all on the line with the first female-centric superhero film since Iron Man blasted onto the scene and reset the way blockbusters would roll out for the next decade. Yes, Paul and Wayne give an in-depth review of Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman. Does it save the DECU's listing ship? Or send it sinking to a watery grave? After a fairly amiable review, the boys then get their horns on as they countdown their favourite films directed by a female. Both hosts manage to initially include a film co-directed by a male which leads to some fun times, before The Soundboard gets a workout with Wayne cursing it every step of the way. Yes, it's all in foul-mouthed fun and the boys are always friends by the end of the Ep, but in this case they also manage to give a proper shoutout to some of the best female directors working today and declare their absolute favourite before the usual blooper reel closes out the show.
