On this episode of TAWF, we decided to do something a little different.  We like being able to switch things up and keep the people that love the show entertained.  As the saying goes, variety is the spice of life.  We decided to dedicate an episode to fantasy booking a story line that could potentially have its seeds planted after tomorrow’s Survivor Series PPV.

At the pay per view, both Team RAW and Team Smackdown have a lot of pressure to perform.  Team RAW’s got Stephanie McMahon threatening their jobs.  Smackdown’s got Undertaker threatening their lives.  Both seem like pretty crappy predicaments to be in, right?  For the purposes of the story line Kaz and I created, Smackdown needs to lose.  This loss will set-up a chain of events that I think many wrestling fans would enjoy.  Here’s the TL;DR notes for the show:

• Team Smackdown loses at Survivor Series.  I don’t know how or why, but they come up short (maybe have AJ take the decisive pinfall loss).
• Team Smackdown worries if Undertaker will come after them like he promised, but AJ doesn’t care and brags about how great he is.
• At TLC, AJ defeats Dean Ambrose in a grueling TLC match.  While AJ celebrates, The Deadman attacks him.
• Undertaker and AJ is signed for Royal Rumble in the Alamo Dome, and in front of thousands of his fellow Texans, the Undertaker wins the WWE title one last time.
• That same night, John Cena wins the Rumble for the 3rd time and ties Steve Austin’s Rumble record (3 wins).  This is important as Cena revealed in the Backlash lead up that he needs to win his 16th title to be considered the GOAT.
• Cena challenges Undertaker to a match at Wrestlemania for the WWE title.
• Knowing that much like an aging gunfighter, this is where his luck runs out, he decides to play one last mind game and up the stakes.  If he loses, his career is over.  If he wins, Cena can never challenge for the WWE title.
• This would effectively end Cena’s career, as he has stated that one of the only things, if not the only thing that keeps him going is tying Ric Flair’s 16 title record.

I hope you all enjoy our little fantasy booking session.  I also hope that Jimmy Jacobs or any one on WWE’s creative team doesn’t steal this angle. Well, I do.  Because it makes perfect sense for the end of the Deadman.
