Submit ReviewSpiderman: Into the Spider-Verse is more than just a strangely punctuated and capitalized title; it’s also a new take on the character. With a PG rating, it’s about as family-friendly as superhero movies get, and it’s scoring a lot of style points with critics. Is that enough, though, or should Sony just give up and sell the Spiderman rights back to Marvel Studios so they can fully assimilate him into the money-printing machine?
And since this is still technically a Spiderman movie, we sort of have to address the craziness that is the Spiderman film canon. Let’s go ahead and talk about our favorite entries and decide once and for all who wore the Spandex best.
