Dawn and Rachel leap right in and discuss one of the most controversial episodes of the series right off the bat: the episode that breaks the very rules of the show. In this episode Sam leaps far beyond his lifespan to inhabit his great-grandfather in the middle of the Civil War. Then he solves slavery, basically, because he's Sam Beckett and race issues have totally been solved in the 1990's.
