Hey E'rybody!
After testing the waters with a few solo posts, Kevin dives into this first "official" episode with his friend, Alice Dobbe from New Zealand.
Alice brings a great energy and informed perspective to the show. Having lived here in Santa Cruz, CA working at one of our local Wineries, she is able to speak to the differences between the two countries. It likely comes as no surprise that those differences come up several times during this episode.
Kevin and Alice chat about a host of different topics, including; How Kiwis generally view Americans and the American Political process, toilets, Maori Culture and the sinking of the Greenpeace Flagship "Rainbow Warrior" by the French in Auckland Harbor in 1985. The conversation takes some fun twists and turns, so come join us for the ride!
Alice will be a regular guest on the show. She is fearless, brash, opinionated, occasionally controversial and always warm, welcoming and hilarious. What more could a podcast ask for?
Thanks for listening!
