Submit ReviewAs-Salaam Alaikum young & muslim family! Today we have a special guest on Mic #3 today! Mashallah, Author, father, Philanthropist, and community role model Adil Ismaaeel! We sat down with Adil and spoke about black men traveling and being visibly muslim. With his first book, breaking borders, we dive into the fact that Black Men just do not travel...Wether it is a financial issue or the fear of living home...Regardless, this narrative must be changed! We also spoke about the importance of being visibly muslim in todays Islamaphobic society. Brother Adil was able to relate to this situation and he combated it with his own children's book, "My Kufi". The book encourages young black boys to be proud of their muslim identity and proud of what they stand for!! So the book is to inspire young muslim boys to grow into strong muslim men who will stand in the forefront of Islam with our sisters!!! Hope you enjoy this show inshallah! Please go and support our Brother Adil - Link in his bio to purchase a book.
