As-Salaam Alaikum everybody! It's Jibreel Salaam & Mohamed Hassan, back with another episode of The Young & Muslim Podcast! On Labor day weekend, we were invited to the 30th annual Detroit Muslim convention out in inkster Michigan. The premise of the event, was to pull away from negativity and leverage society to better engage with the community. We had the honor to sit down with one of the founders of the community and one of the most important imams (and people) this world has ever seen! We had the chance to chop it up with Imam Pasha, the resident imam at Masjid Malcolm Shabbaz in Harlem NY. This was the mosque Malcolm built with his hands! Imam Pasha, is no regular cat...He was brought up by the teachings of W.D. Muhammad who still holds the largest transition, 2.5 Million people converting to Islam and following the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) all in one day! So you will get a chance to learn more about Imam Pasha's life, and how he uses what Allah has given to him to get closer to god. Such as the 5 senses and common sense. Now join the convo and experience how Imam Pasha uses his senses to connect with God!!!!
