This week we discuss the Mike Birbiglia film Don’t Think Twice (2016) and the Derek Cianfrance film The Place Beyond The Pines (2012). Don’t Think Twice is a film about an improv group that is struggling to break through when one of their members makes the big time. As a result the relationships within the group begin to deteriorate immediately. The Place Beyond The Pines is a film about a man that when faced with life changing information decides to go for a quick fix and starts robbing banks. That decision ends up having long lasting consequences for everyone involved. Next we have a new segment called Highest and Lowest where we throw out a celebrity name and then we have to guess their highest and lowest rated films on MetaCritic. Lastly we select our films for next week and we go with a couple detective comedies currently on Netflix with Handsome and Mindhorn.
