This week we discuss two international films the first is a war drama and the second is a documentary about a tragic medical cover up in England and in much of Europe. The first film is Airlift (2016) a film about the Iraq invasion of Kuwait, but focuses on 150,000 stranded Indian expats in the country of Kuwait. Then we discuss Attacking the Devil: Harold Evans and the Last Nazi War Crime (2014) about a dogged newspaper editor and his desire to expose a horrific story about a drug that has damaged thousands of lives.

Next we head to our Against The Grain segment where we discuss films that we think go against public opinion. Joe’s pick is called into question on wether or not he is actually with the grain while Nick selects one of the great directors well regarded films to say he disagrees.

Next we put the randomizer back in the box for a week. With the inauguration of America’s next president a week away we have decided to go with a couple of political films currently on Netflix to go with the theme of the week.
