This week we discuss an indie drama What Maisie Knew (2012) with a stellar and entertaining cast and a stand out performance by the child actor Onata Aprile. Next we discuss a Jet Li classic with Fist of Legend (1994) a film with very entertaining fight sequences and enough social commentary to keep the film moving.

Next we have a Take My Money segment where Nick and Joe tell hollywood the films that they want to see get made. Joe has a beloved film from his childhood that he would love to see remade and Nick has a video game that he thinks is rich with material for a film.

The randomizer is given a break this week as we introduce a new idea for a show called Hidden Gems revisited. Nick and Joe will tackle each others suggested Hidden Gems to see if they hold up. Are these films worth seeing? Will the hosts agree on the “gem” status? Tune in and find out!
