In this installment of BWYM, Rena-Marie, Mike and Black Pedro begin with a recap of Mike's 40th B-day and all the festivities, including what turned out to be a Golden Globes party as well. Everyone gives their opinion of the ups and downs of the ceremony, but still haven't figured out how "The Martian" was a comedy?!?! Did you hear about El Chapo's arrest? Did you hear about his secret meeting with Sean Penn while he was on the lamb? No, yeah, we said Sean Penn. WTF? Even more dumbfounding is how groups like the NRA continue to fight "smart gun" technologies that could prevent countless unnecessary deaths by firearm. Like the POTUS says, if we can prevent people from using our cell phones, why can't we do the same with guns? The State of New York is entering the medical marijuana game, but with some very specific restrictions that we just are used to here in California. This episode also features an installment of "Cops Gone Wild" where we examine the circumstances surrounding an Atlanta based rapper's detainment by police after withdrawing $200,000 of his own money. Wow, "Black while banking" is becoming dangerous. Even more dangerous is when a judge takes bribes from juvenile detention center developers and then put 4,000 kids away in those centers! It happened in Pennsylvania, and the judge is finally getting what he deserves. Lastly, we bid farewell to the great David Bowie who passed after an 18 month battle with cancer. As sad as it is, "Let's Dance" to celebrate one of the greatest artists of our time!
