Early on in his career, John developed the most respected comedy brand in the UK. Starting from just one club in London he negotiated the successful rollout to clubs nationwide.
 
After selling his business at a valuation of 51 million, he then bought it back and expanded it to 20 clubs before reselling it once again for a higher return.
 
John has also co produced over 70 television shows of stand up on the BBC, ITV and Sky.
 
His other business interests include a well known gastropub company that he founded as well as an extensive property portfolio.
