This week, Black Pedro, Mike Casentini and Rena-Marie Villano discuss a variety of news items and personal stuff. It all starts with Pedro and Rena-Marie trying to talk Mike into doing Yoga. Pedro explains his recent experience using Uber, which then leads to talking about other Uber experiences and our thoughts about their business. Last episode we talked about Sandra Bland and spoke about her death as being suspicious. In this episode, we discuss the recent autopsy and statements from other inmates who had some contact with Sandra while in jail. We also bring up the “mug shot” controversy. This wouldn’t be a show without discuss #BlackLivesMatter and the fact that White people love saying #AllLivesMatter. By the way, of course “All Lives Matter,” but black people are dying at the hand of police and law enforcement. Finally, we close the show on a story about a fundraiser for the 6 police officers involved in the death of Freddie Gray. Someone thought it would be cute to entertain the crowd in black face. Subsequently, they cancelled the event. FEATURED MUSIC 1. Rap Phenomenon by The Notorious B.I.G. 2. Dangerous MC’s by The Notorious B.I.G. 3. Dead Wrong by The Notorious B.I.G.
