On this episode, meet Resilient Nik! For over 19 years she’s owned and operated her own successful childcare center in Philadelphia, PA. She’s a mother of two and is very much in love with her fiancé. However, their love story has experienced its fair share of the journey through incarceration.

Sentenced to 12.5-25 years, when her son was only 4 months old and she a young 21-year-old mother, Nik was unprepared for life as a prison wife.  Through her words, you will hear how she coped with the absence of her loved one, raised her son, and managed to fall back in love with the man she once felt had abandoned her.
