Know Your Generations The Booms Day Prepping panelists join together on a very interesting topic: Knowing The Generations. Many people already know about the Baby Boomers, the generation born after World War II. These people grew up in a in a time of great prosperity and an absence of world wars. They were the Flower Children, protesting the Vietnam War and rejecting traditions and society values and challenging authority. This was the generation brave enough to express their thoughts and opinions openly. Aside from the Baby Boomers, let's get the know the other generations that come before and after the Boomers. One group born before the Baby Boomers is the Silent Generation who unlike the Boomers lived during the terrifying period of McCarthyism which made them afraid to speak out and kept silent.
