Ok DreamTribe, we’ve got a huge announcement. Sheri has taken a big leap. She dove head-first into a labor of love, and wrote a deeply personal book called The Beautiful No: And Other Tales of Trial, Transcendence, and Transformation. It’s a tale of growth and discovery. It’s full of laughs, tears and Salata wisdoms. And it will launch on June 4. Talk about inspiration!

In today’s episode, Sher and Nance unpack the writing process behind this book, share some of their favorite excerpts, and invite everyone to download a free chapter! Listen in.

Takeaways:

● It’s our very own Sheri Salata’s first book, The Beautiful No: and Other Tales of Trials, Transcendence, and Transformation… out on June 4th.

● It has been a labor of love and two years in the making. Writing a personal memoir is cathartic and healing, and Sheri’s openness about her own life speaks to her commitment to The Pillar Life.

● Sher and Nance’s decision to hunker down and take a real, honest look at their own lives and ultimately create the Pillars was an absolute game changer and the genesis of this book.

● Nancy’s favorite chapter of the book, “I Did Everything Wrong and It Turned Out Alright” is relatable and just plain funny. Sheri’s fave is “Feel the Burn”, it’s an honest look at the things we will go through for what we think is our dream bod.

● Sheri’s vision for the book is that it serves as an invitation for others to join the DreamTribe and The Pillar Life.

● Sheri writes about what happens when she realized that she had the career or her dreams, but not the life of her dreams.

● This week in the Listener Inbox: The scoop on Nancy’s knives and Digestive Enzymes!
