Ms. Rhimes has been making waves in the industry for a while now, but she just set some amazing records with Netflix. She made the “richest deal in tv history” with our favorite streaming platform and has created the most watch show in all of Netflix history. Bridgerton has clocked over 83 million household views in just it’s first month on the platform. Really, if you haven’t seen it yet, what are you doing ya’ll?? Don’t sleep on Shonda!

Shonda Rhimes has not only made history as a Black woman in Hollywood, she’s made history, period. She created an impressive career for herself in an industry that’s still difficult to grab a seat at the table unless you’re white and male. And now, she runs her own business in a way that uplifts others.
