Submit ReviewGrowing up in California, Jon was taken on epic adventures by his father into the local mountains and national parks where the opportunity to fly fish was abundant. Later in life, however, Jon found himself in the much warmer Texas landscape where he had to adjust his skills to continue pursuing the sport.
Fly fishing is the perfect minimalistic complementary skill to so many other adventure sports; backpacking, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, etc. It doesn't take much to throw a small rod and a few flies in with your gear and have some fresh fish on your adventure.
