Filmmaker Paul Solet (TREAD, GRACE, DARK SUMMER, TALES OF HALLOWEEN) first appeared on THE MOVIE CRYPT during our episode dedicated to making short films almost 6 years ago (Ep 74 - 10/20/14). Now, Solet returns to sit down with Adam, Joe, and Arwen, discuss his full career journey, and share all that he has been up to since last doing the podcast. From growing up with Eli Roth as his summer camp counselor… to his short film GRACE being discovered by Adam (who produced the feature film version)… to GRACE’s magnificent Sundance premiere being followed by several frustrating years of “almosts” … to conquering writing assignments that required crash courses in subjects he wasn’t already familiar with … to constantly changing genres and never repeating himself artistically… to the making of his incredible new documentary TREAD which mixes testimonial, news/stock, and recreation footage in a groundbreaking way … Solet is much more of a force to be reckoned with than the “Nicolo” character he portrays on HOLLISTON! Dr. Arwen provides emotional support and advice for a writer in an identity crisis and Paul answers our Crypt Keepers’ burning questions in this incredibly educational episode.
