Director and Academy Award-nominated film producer Marc Smerling of A Wilderness of Error, an FX documentary true crime five-part series based on the book A Wilderness of Error: The Trials of Jeffrey MacDonald by Errol Morris.

Retired NYPD detective Bob Duffy was an E-5, military police officer stationed at Fort Bragg in the U.S. Army on a routine patrol on February 16, 1970. He responded to a radio call concerning an incident at 544 Castle Drive. He talks about that evening, how it changed the trajectory of his life, and what he has learned from also watching the series.
