This week on the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich break down the 2019-20 Phoenix Suns NBA season. The show begins recounting the Suns hot 7-4 start to the season, and then moves into the 25 game Deandre Ayton suspension. That leads into a talk about how much Aron Baynes, Dario Saric, and Frank Kaminsky stepped up to fill the hole the Ayton left early on in the season. After that, the guys touch on the wing trio of Kelly Oubre Jr., Mikal Bridges, and Cameron Johnson. Spoiler alert: Charlie and Mitch love all three of these guys and talk about why they want them all to be back on the roster next season and beyond. After the season review, the guys discuss the new NBA draft process, and what it entails this season due to COVID-19. The Suns have already done quite a few interviews over Zoom, and have already met with Alabama's Kira Lewis Jr. twice. Other interviewees include: Tre Jones, Tyrell Terry, Zeke Nnaji, Jalen Smith, and Precious Achiuwa.
