He began coming to the Barolo for harvests in 2007, working for 2-3 months with a different winemaker each vintage to learn the subtleties of each producer’s methods. In 2011, he moved to the area permanently, first working in the cellar of Luciano Sandrone and then at the Bartolo Mascarello and Cavallotto wineries. 2012 saw his first production of an experimental quantity of wine from a 1000 square meter vineyard on the Pernanno hill in Castiglione Falletto. In 2015 his vineyard holdings expanded enough to incorporate as an Azienda Agricola and commercial production of Barolo began with 2800 bottles made in that first 2015 vintage year. In 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo was added to the production. Currently the winery farms nearly 5 hectares of land and produces Barolo, Langhe Nebbiolo and a small amount of Chinato. Max production for the small M8 cantina is 12,000 bottles Barolo and 12,000 bottles Langhe Nebbiolo each vintage.
