Don’t forget you can find us on Twitter, Good Reads and Facebook now as well as subscribing to us on iTunes here.  You can also support The Readers if you feel like it via www.patreon.com/thereaders The Readers Retreat () The Readers are meeting THIS September. Simon and Thomas will be in San Francisco on Saturday, September 22nd and Sunday, September 23rd, 2018 and we want to hang out with our listeners. We are planning a weekend of bookish fun in the City by the Bay and hope some of you can join us. We plan on having a few opportunities to get together, but are keeping things decidedly informal. Some of the things we are thinking of: A book store crawl, a Tales of the City tour, some sort of food/drink related get together, and recording at least two episodes of The Readers with audience participation. In order for this to be meaningful we need to keep the group size down to about 50 participants. Since we don't plan on having a Booktopia- or Book Riot-level of organization and polish, we need to keep the size manageable. So... the fine print...if you are interested in going let us know via email at the address below by May 15, 2018. If we get more than 50 people who plan on coming we will do a random draw and confirm with you by May 20th. (Unless you were planning on going to SF that weekend anyway, you should probably hold off getting your airplane ticket until you get a confirmation.)
