Cuban-born Advanced Sommelier, Italian Wine Professional, Certified Wine Educator, and Certified Wine Specialist Luis Reyneri brings over three decades of wine and hospitality experience to his upscale Italian eatery. As the owner, operator and wine director of The Grove Cucina & Wine in Hobe Sound, FL, Luis, and wife Jen are on a mission (Tell us more about the mission of your restaurant)to transform small-town dining into world-class experiences. Luis’s cultural adaptability and multiple foreign language skills have helped him achieve proven results as a well-respected international hospitality professional.
Luis' extensive background includes experience as Lead Sommelier at Le Cirque Restaurant at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas, National Sales Director at Knight's Bridge Winery, VP of Sales of Domaine Serene Winery, and Sales Director of the Latin Americas for Kendall Jackson, Adjunct Professor at the University of Las Vegas, head judge for the Miami International Wine Fair.

Guest Bio – Oenologist
Oreste Dogliani, is winemaker of Cantine Batasiolo, & guardian of the principles that have been the foundation of the family winery's work for decades, in La Morra. Born in Fossano, graduated 1989 from Enological School of Alba, Umberto I Enolical.
In 1998, he became a winemaker & his training took place living among the countryside & vineyards from a young age, harvesting, observing, & assisting in cellar. He was interested in the more technical aspects of viticulture & learning every aspect of cellar & field work. His mentor is the renowned winemaker Giorgio Grai.
In 2003 Oreste started overseeing the entire production process, going to the vineyards daily. His philosophy is to know well the areas, soils, different vineyards, to best enhance the wines produced; invest in technology.
