Welcome to Episode 1829 in which host Giulia Stocchetti interviews Larissa Lawrence this week on The Next Generation to recap the Gita Scolastica - VIA deep dive into the Marche wine region held last year, November 15th to 19th. More about today’s guest A former management consultant and lifelong lover of wine and food, Larissa Lawrence co-founded Vinos Enteros, a wine importing and distribution company in Mexico City, Mexico in 2017.  Vinos Enteros works with producers who are first and foremost artisanal, meaning that they make wine in a way that emphasizes the uniqueness of their respective grapes, vineyard sites and wine production zones. They typically follow organic or biodynamic practices in the vineyard, harvest the grapes by hand, handle them minimally and often bottle the wines unfiltered and unfined.  A lifelong student, Larissa holds certifications from WSET (Advanced Level 3), Vinitaly International Academy (Italian Wine Ambassador) and the Court of Sommeliers (ISG). She also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. Larissa is American by birth but feels deeply connected to her adopted hometown of Mexico City where she's lived for the last 6 years with her family: husband Raúl; two sons, Bruno and Nico; and two pups, Bart and Orca.
