She is a young, intuitive winemaker with a profound sensitivity to the interpretation of old vines and the ambition to elevate the winery through holistic, sustainable viticulture. Serena's focus on continuous ecological improvement and biodiversity has had transformative results in the vineyards. Sharing the owners’ belief that the role of a great winemaker is simply to shepherd nature, her low intervention methodology led to a critically acclaimed first vintage, marking Montefili’s ascent - a phoenix rising in Chianti Classico.
