Welcome to Episode 1788 on Italian Wine Podcast, Wine, Food & Travel With Marc Millon. Today, he will be interviewing Mara Lona More about today’s guest Cembrana DOC, born in 1978, graduated in 2004 in foreign languages and literatures, specializing in Russian and English, Mara began her journey in the world of food and wine in 2005 after a master's degree abroad in marketing and business administration. She began a collaboration with the Valle di Cembra Development Promotion Committee in the drafting of the promotion and communication plans for the newly created Strada del Vino e dei Sapori Colline Avisiane, Faedo, Valle di Cembra, of which he became a councilor from 2010 to 2022. Before dedicating herself definitively to Val di Cembra, she decided to put her studies to good use and from 2006 to 2012 she worked for a historic Trentino distillery, dealing with the foreign market and its commercial development, as well as the company's marketing. However, her passion for the valley is strong and in 2012 she returned to Val di Cembra to work for the private cellars and distilleries in the area who founded the Cembrani D.O.C. consortium. (Of Cembrana Origin) for territorial promotion through the valorisation of viticultural products. It deals with b2c marketing through the website www.cembranidoc.it, local and national trade fairs, the development of wine tourism and hospitality, territorial events such as Baiti En Festa and Caneve En Festa with the aim of building a strong territorial brand, a challenge that involves and excites her more and more every day.
