The event is a key annual reference point for wine producers and wine professionals from around the world, providing an opportunity to network, develop and expand their wine business worldwide. More about today’s winery: Cecchi is a historic Tuscan winery founded 130 years ago and led today by the family’s 4th generation, Andrea Cecchi. The winery’s headquarters are in Castellina in Chianti, where the family moved in the 1970s, guided by the pursuit of quality in their wines. Over time, Famiglia Cecchi invested in designated wine areas, to experiment and create their own estate wines. Today, the company owns five estates, all in very special terroirs: Villa Cerna and Villa Rosa in Castellina in Chianti, in Chianti Classico, with their incredibly different parcels and soils, that produce authentic and elegant wines. Val delle Rose, in Maremma, the wild and vibrant south of Tuscany; Tenuta Alzatura, in Montefalco, an authentic gem in Umbria; and last but not least, an estate in Montalcino. Famiglia Cecchi has been committed to the environment ever since. Both Val delle Rose and Tenuta Alzatura are 100% organic since harvest 2021. The company has also achieved Equalitas certification.
