Earlier this year, Whitney Wolf Heard took Bumble public and the company is now worth over $8 billion. With a capital B. And over here at H&H, we find it kind of wild that a dating app could one - be making any money, period, let alone two - be worth billions and billions of dollars. 🤯 And Ms. Heard has broke some major barriers in this process. At 31, she’s now the youngest CEO to take her company public and is the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire. 🤯🤯

In this episode, we talk about the evolution of dating apps, our experiences using them and the origins of Bumble and Whitney’s success. If we had to pick, Bumble would def be our favorite out of the dating apps, mostly for it’s BFF feature! And we love any company that’s centering women’s empowerment. 82% of Bumble’s employees are women and it’s freaking awesome that we now have a billion dollar company that was created by women. Listen in for our take on what this means for society and more.
